I love this imagination of Batman - the size of the arms, the intensity of the face, lots to like…

I just came out to my parents!

devincastro:

I ate at P.F. Chang’s last night and opened my fortune cookie. Read what it said, here. I am a firm believer in fortune cookies, no matter how ridiculous they may sound. In the long run, they end up making sense. This particular one really really encouraged me, because before I opened the cookie, I took a NO H8 photograph with Adam Bouska. Just being a part of a campaign that really meant a lot to me, made me realize that I could tell my parents and hope that they will love me for who I am as a person, as their son.

So, I sat them down this morning and told them straight up. “I’m gay.” They paused for a moment (which seemed as though it were five minutes), looked at each other, then they both started crying. I asked my mom what was wrong and she said, “I’ve always known, Devin. We both knew, we were just waiting for you to be comfortable with who you are and to tell us proudly. We love you so much. I am so proud of you!” Then my father started crying, then I started crying.. It was just so unexpected. I love my family so much, they mean the world to me.

I thought I should share my story, because it really worried me back in January when I wrote this post. Thank you to those that have supported me all this time! You’re all so great, I love you.

I love this story…

I dont know what is goin on in this picture…. but I like it.
Just randomly came to your Tumblr - this is Koko B Ware - a wrestler in the WWF - I know because as a kid, I was crazy into that stuff :)
But I think you knew that - because now that I’m reblogging - I see there’s a link here too :)

“re healthcare:” —

squashed on tumblr wrote “I think the concern about extending full benefits to undocumented people shows a lack of compassion and reflects poorly on us as a country” This was a response to a response to something I’d written.

The main thing I was trying to point out is that most politicians are trying to help citizens yet they use statistics that include non-citizens - which is also hypocritical. I hate hypocrisy in the news.

There should be a word for this - I wonder if this is too long to catch on….

“I’ve been making a list of the things they don’t teach you at school. They don’t teach you how to love somebody. They don’t teach you how to be rich or how to be poor. They don’t teach you how to walk away from someone you don’t love any longer. They don’t teach you how to move on when the one you love walks away from you. They don’t teach you how to know what’s going on in someone else’s mind. They don’t teach you what to say to someone who’s dying. They don’t teach you anything truly worth knowing.” —

Neil Gaiman(via hello-therelove)(via maluna)

I so believe this - and they should teach these things at school - or at least they should teach more about emotional intelligence
